If you are burger enthusiasts, be happy to face the fact that more and more gourmet burger joints are opening in town, they might not always be in the form of actual outlet, some prefer the fun and unique food trucks, but in whatever form that is, I always burgers my kriptonyte. Flashback to many years ago, the actual burger that I like besides McD's Fillet O'Fish (which by the way is BACK), and the one I used to call "mobile burger", it's mobile because the burgerman drove the stall along with the bicycle and I remember I was always so anticipated and excited with his coming, whenever I hear the trumpet, I would just ask money from my mom (I sometimes even stole, but I was too little to know that I was stealing LOL). It was cheap, and satifying, and now that I am older, it was actually not cooked properly and rather dirty, oh well memories :).

I can’t believe that out of the uncountable times flying to Bali and those cafe hoppings, here I am FINALLY making this list. The cafe scene in Bali is too crazy, there are so many places for foodies to explore! In Seminyak alone, probably hundreds of cafe spread all over the streets of Seminyak, just too many that I can’t keep up. I need to go back and forth to Bali for like 100 times to really explore everything. Do note that these are the cafes that I found impressive, with ambiance and food that I really enjoy. I believe there are some other good cafes that are really good or personally better for you, maybe I just haven't been to those places, so if you have recommendations, drop them below puhlease.

This is not a ranking list, I'm gonna sort it in alphabetical order!

Shiraku Soba is one of the newest additions to the evolving Elang Laut area, and I guess the name said it all, Shiraku is a soba specialist restaurant.

If you’ve never been to Elang Laut before, it’s actually quite easy to reach. If you make your way from the main PIK entrance (front entrance), take the usual road that usually takes you to Rumah Sakit PIK, you’ll find a Burger King on your way, and instead of turning right to RS PIK, you turn left and keep straight passing the four way road until you cross the bridge and then turn left, and then turn right, and just like that you’re basically at the Elang Laut area. Shiraku Soba is located align with Itadakimasu if that makes it easier.

On my latest trip to Bandung, precisely on the first day before actually arriving in Bandung. My friends and I made a stop at this highly talked about area called Tebing Keraton. It’s been there for quite some time, but for some reasons more and more people are talking about this lately, some even claimed this as Bandung’s very own Gunung Bromo, oh well.

Tebing Keraton is located at Cimenyan, Dago. Since I came from Jakarta, I rely myself 100% to Google Maps, it gave 85% accurate path and not to mention, I went with a friend of mine who used to live in Bandung for almost 7 years, so he knows Bandung in and out. I departed from Jakarta around 4 AM, after a stop and very relaxed driving, we managed to arrive at Tebing Keraton around 7:30 AM.

If you’re familiar and actually fond of Layar Seafood in Surabaya, you’re going to be very happy (as much as I am) to know that Layar is now opening in Jakarta! Visited this well known seafood restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago with my brother and along with the actual review, I am sharing the joy here!

Sushi Sen is currently the talk of the town! I had lunch here earlier today with my dear friends and now sharing my experience with you!

Along with the rapid growing number of Coffee shops in Jakarta, particularly in the west, here comes another one: Simetri Coffee in Puri Indah which will open its door for public TOMORROW (08/01/16). Take note bitches! I came to their soft-opening days #access just earlier today and now I am blogging this for you.
Simetri Coffee is located precisely at Jalan Kembang Abadi 7, Puri Indah. Anyway, it can be accessed easily by Waze or Google Maps (yay FTW!).  They prefer to be called a coffee house rather than a coffee shop due to its venue that looked more like a cozy and casual home rather than a coffee shop, and just like the common houses, they have a living room located in the center of their space, designed nicely to create the homey ambiance.
Short review of my latest finding, a fucking hidden gem.

First found out about TUKU from a good friend of mine, Sari. She raved about this coffee shop A LOT, and I do trust her opinion as she always gives the best recommendation! You can follow her Instagram (@jsarisiregar) btw, so I guess right after having my lunch at Soulfood (which fyi was so good, review coming soon), thought I could just grab a little coffee since before my next meeting, and since it’s very close to Kemang.

TUKU is located at Cipete, right across Toodz House, both are owned by the same owner. This coffee shop is very petite, so if you notice Sophie Authentique or Alfamart on the left side of the street, it’s located around. Inside you’ll find a homey coffee shop with several seatings, a mini coffee roaster and a little pastry display. I only had their “Iced Kopi Susu Tetangga”, basically latte with a hint of brown sugar. I was sold on the first sip. It was really-really good with well-balanced flavor and aftertaste, it was creamy and slowly faded to this beautiful aftertaste towards the end of every sip. I like the default amount of brown sugar to each serving, it was perfect. I could have two or three cups all for myself, and good thing it only cost you IDR 18k/cup. Beautiful!
I highly recommend this coffee shop, when I uploaded this on my Instagram, some people agreed that they serve amazing coffee! I am totally coming back for more!

Bali is one of those places that I will never get bored of, as how I usually described Bali on my previous Bali posts, it’s just a place you can’t get enough of, there’s always something new, something mysterious and something addicting that makes you crave for more of what they have in store. Bali is short to say, amazing. One of the main reasons why I am grateful and fortunate to be born here in Indonesia.

Last month, I had a weekend staycation at InterContinental Bali and I wanna share you guys my experience spending the weekend there endulging the resort and some of the activities I did there. I had to separate the whole post into two posts or else it will be crazy long, this one itself is already photo heavy. PS: in no way this is a paid advertisement so my review is totally unbiased.
Hands down to THE BEST Christmas tree I’ve seen.

I am writing this post, and I am honestly having a hard time to describe Ruang Seduh. To me, it’s a not a coffee shop, not that typical coffee shop where you go when you desperately need a cup of iced caramel macchiato, order at the counter and have your name called for pick up and chill around at the spot for hours, no, not this one. They indeed sell coffee here, but I don’t know, calling Ruang Seduh a coffee shop is not exactly right to describe it. This is my own personal opinion.
Been wanting to try Yoogane forever, especially when I happened to be in Singapore, but in most cases, I always found myself overeating in Singapore after all those crazy cafe hoppings, and the least thing I wanted at that very one moment was something to fill me in my mouth and tummy!
KONICHIWA! Welcoming St. Marc to Indonesia! The chococro (chocolate croissant bread) specialist is finally expanding their business to Indonesia after all those 300+ outlets spread around Tokyo and an international chain in Shanghai.
